Is Living Hope Inc. a non-profit organization?
Yes. In 2018 Kirsten Joss established Living Hope Inc. as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent the law allows.
Does Living Hope Inc have an orphanage in Kenya?
Living Hope Inc does not have an orphanage at this time, there might be one day in the future. Our ministry focuses primarily on reaching teenagers and young adults specifically in East Africa or other locations, through mentorship and discipleship to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. Kirsten’s vision for the youth of East Africa is to see young people’s lives develop holistically and live a life full of hope with the purpose and intention that God has created them to be.
We also try to best come alongside families in order to prevent children from becoming orphans. Oftentimes, parents/guardians are forced to send children to an orphanage because they aren’t able to provide for their basic needs. Your partnership with the Mathare Education Project removes the heavy burden of tuition costs, daily meals, and possibly medical care from parents/guardians and allows families to stay intact.
Can I volunteer at Living Hope Inc in Kenya?

Can I write a letter to the children Living Hope Inc serves?
Yes. Children in Kenya love to receive mail from westerners. Please address your letter to “Dear Friends” as we cannot give your letter to a specific child, but will give it to a child that needs a little extra encouragement. Children in Kenya love to hear about your life, how you heard about Living Hope Inc., and your prayers for the children in Kenya, and the children in our outreaches.
